Hunt rushed 17 times for 64 yards and a touchdown while corralling his only target for six receiving yards in Sunday's 32-29 playoff win over Buffalo.
He added one catch for six yards on his only target. Hunt took a first-and-10 from the Buffalo 12 for a score on Kansas City's opening drive, Hunt appeared to leave the field with injury a few times, though it was never serious enough for him to not check back in. It wouldn't be surprising if he popped up on the injury report before the Super Bowl. Hunt had 38 snaps, easily outperforming Isiah Pacheco, and if healthy will come into the Super Bowl as Kansas City's lead back.
Pacheco failed to corral his lone passing-game target. Seemingly nowhere close to 100 percent healthy after his regular season leg and rib injuries, Pacheco was a clear No. 2 to Kareem Hunt on the depth chart this afternoon. Although options are always limited on a four-team slate, Pacheco profiles as a poor DFS bet for conference championship weekend.
With everything on the line, Hunt ran ahead of Isiah Pacheco, who doesn't seem to be over his regular season injury issues. That would make Hunt "the DFS play" for conference championship weekend, but this will be a backfield best avoided if you can afford to do so.
Pacheco was a full participant in practice all week. With nearly three full weeks to recover from the rib injury he suffered in Week 17's game against the Steelers, Pacheco is good to go for Saturday's divisional tilt against a Texans team the Chiefs beat handedly back in Week 16. Pacheco managed just nine carries for 26 yards in the victory, and will likely split touches with Kareem Hunt.
