Malcolm Brogdon

Brogdon playing both games of Washington's back-to-back was somewhat surprising, even though he was returning from a hand injury. Starting for the injured Bilal Coulibaly, the veteran guard did not offer much value in a game that got out of hand well before the fourth quarter. Where there may be times when Brogdon offers tangible fantasy value, Washington's commitment to its younger players limits his fantasy ceiling.

The Wizards are without Bilal Coulibaly, opening up a space in the starting lineup. Brogdon, who made his season debut on Sunday, will fill the void, and moving into the starting lineup boosts his value. While rookie Kyshawn George will come off the bench, Coulibaly's absence should also increase his fantasy value.

Brogdon's absence from the injury report means he'll make his Wizards debut on Sunday. However, fantasy managers should temper their expectations, especially with Bub Carrington and Bilal Coulibaly playing well. Brogdon should be in the rotation, but the minutes needed to impact fantasy basketball may not be there immediately.
