Where to Put 'em is the Fantasy Football Nerd's look at the best and worst matchups for Week 14 of the NFL season. Decisions are based upon the Fantasy Football Nerd's rankings and matchup analysis. Given the known conditions, these matchups are the ones to watch and/or avoid.

Put 'em In The Game: Donovan McNabb
The last time McNabb and the Eagles faced the Giants, Donovan threw for 240 yards and 3 TDs. He'll also have DeSean Jackson who grabbed 78 of those yards and 1 score. The Giants are stingy on yardage but they just gave up 392 yards and 3 TD's to Romo and the Cowboys last week.
Put 'em In The Game: Alex Smith
Alex Smith has been a saving grace for many fantasy owners. He comes into the FFN rankings this week at #11 among QB's. He faces an Arizona defense that ranks 30th in the league against the pass. The 49'ers will most likely be playing from behind so Smith will have to throw. The Cardinals are giving up an average of 302 yards/game over the past 4 games.
Put 'em In The Game: Jamaal Charles
I'm one of the happy owners who snatched Charles off the waiver wire and I'll be plugging him into my lineups this week against a Bills defense that ranks dead last in the league against the run giving up an average of 172 yards/game.
Put 'em In The Game: Ryan Grant
The Packers have focused more on the ground game during the 2nd half of the season. Grant hasn't been the stud that many hoped he would be but he has a solid chance of grinding it out against the Bears who rank 25th in the league in rushing yards allowed.
Put 'em In The Game: Terrell Owens
Feel free to pinch yourself. This has been a pretty pathetic year for Owens but that's turning around. If you take away last week's game where Jets CB Darrelle Revis smothered him, Owens is averaging 126 yards receiving per game since the bye week. KC ranks 28th in the league against the pass.
Put 'em In The Game: Donald Driver
Move over Greg Jennings. This is Donald Driver's year to be the #1 receiver in Green Bay. The Packer's all-time leading receiver will face a divisional opponent in Chicago. Driver's #7 ranking this week on FFN is due to the Bears giving up the 9th most fantasy points to opposing WR's.
Put 'em In The Game: Jermichael Finley
I like Finley this week against the Bears who have given up 7 scores to TE's this season. The presence of Donald Lee continues to dilute Finley's fantasy value but Finley is clearly the go-to TE in Green Bay as indicated by his #14 ranking.
Put 'em In The Game: Brent Celek
Brent Celek comes into Week 14 ranked #6 among WR's in FFN standard scoring. The Giants have given up more points to opposing TE's than any other team in the NFL. If history is any indication, Celek should have a good game. When he faced the Giants in Week 8, he had 4 receptions for 61 yards and a score.
Put 'em On The Bench: Eli Manning
If you've got a better option, this may be the week to let Eli watch the game from the bench. Other than a shootout against Atlanta, Eli hasn't thrown for more than 250 yards since Week 4. Philly picked off and sacked Eli twice when they last met in Week 8. His #16 spot in this week's rankings is very middle of the road and doesn't inspire any confidence in his upcoming performance.
Put 'em On The Bench: Jay Cutler
What do you get when you combine Cutler's 20 interceptions and the league's 3rd best pass defense? The answer should be fantasy disappointment. Cutler most likely will not repeat his Week 1 disaster, but you can bet that Charles Woodson will be watching him like a hawk.
Put 'em On The Bench: Matt Forte
Last week was the last game that Forte could be considered a fantasy start for the remainder of the season. His post-season value has tanked. He went from #11 in the FFN rankings last week to #25 this week. The Packers rank 4th in the league against the rush. Forte has crossed the century mark only once this year and he's surpassed 90 yards twice. Forte's value is not in his rushing ability but rather in his receiving abilities. With Green Bay, Baltimore, and Minnesota on the schedule, Forte's still a risky play.
Put 'em On The Bench: Kevin Smith
Kevin Smith may have done well against Cincy last week rushing for 75 yards, but the Ravens will be keeping an eye on him. Baltimore is 6th against the rush and will try to shut Smith down. And don't expect any help from Culpepper.
Put 'em On The Bench: Devin Hester
Cutler has 20 picks on the season and Hester will be smothered by defensive nightmare Charles Woodson. Combine that bad news with the fact that Hester missed practice yesterday and is questionable for Sunday and you get a risky play. Need more? How about a 46th ranking among all WR's this week. Ouch.
Put 'em On The Bench: T.J. Houshmandzadeh
What happened to Housh? His 30th ranking this week is indicative of his poor season. Even with a middle-of-the-road defense in Houston, Housh isn't expected to perform much better than average. Other than a monster game against Arizona, Houshmandzadeh hasn't topped 37 yards in receiving since his bye week. He's also only added 1 score in that time. He has a better matchup next week.
Put 'em On The Bench: John Carlson
Houston is a pretty generous team against opposing TE's, but Carlson has been a disappointment since Week 2. He's averaging 1 reception and 13.5 yards per game over the past 4 games. The fact that Houston ranks 24th in the league in points allowed to TE's is the only reason Carlson makes it into the FFN rankings at #19.
Put 'em On The Bench: Benjamin Watson
Brady's hurt but he's still a starting QB in all formats. Unfortunately the same can't be said of Ben Watson. The Panthers have given up only 4 TD's to TE's all season and allow a paltry 43 yards/game. Watson's ranked #23 this week and the consensus is that he belongs on your bench.
