This is the Fantasy Football Nerd's look at the best and worst matchups for Week 9 of the 2017 NFL season. Decisions are based upon the FFN rankings and matchup analysis. Given the known conditions, these matchups are the ones to watch and/or avoid.
Please Note: This list does not generally include the elite players that you are going to start regardless of matchup. You don't need us to tell you to start Drew Brees, Rob Gronkowski, or Antonio Brown. Instead, we take a look at other players on your team that we believe either have great matchups or should be avoided for multiple reasons. Factors like opposing defense, performance trending, and peer comparisons may influence our decisions.

I like Thompson over Collins and Jeffery (by just the smallest of favors) above Adams.

Should I drop Marshawn, I use him in my flex most weeks and he's been sucking!!
Nerd CommentedNov 4, 2017 11:00 am
I don't know if I would completely drop him. He's an RB3/Flex, but based upon his production so far, that's probably his ceiling. The week you drop him is the week that he goes off - you know that right? LOL

I was a guy who had Watson. I have Philip Rivers so the season isn't completely lost but he is on a bye. Who is the best 1 week start? Can you rank these 4? Brissett, Cutler, Bortles, Savage.

@joebear18 - Yuck. Of that four, I'm probably playing Brisset. Good luck!
