This is the Fantasy Football Nerd's look at the best and worst matchups for Week 5 of the 2018 NFL season. Decisions are based upon the FFN rankings and matchup analysis. Given the known conditions, these matchups are the ones to watch and/or avoid.
Please Note: This list does not generally include the elite players that you are going to start regardless of matchup. You don't need us to tell you to start Aaron Rodgers, Rob Gronkowski, or Antonio Brown. Instead, we take a look at other players on your team that we believe either have great matchups or should be avoided for multiple reasons. Factors like opposing defense, performance trending, and peer comparisons may influence our decisions.
If asking a sit/start question, be sure to provide your scoring format and contribute to answering questions from other FN members as well.

I thought Kroft did pretty good in Eiferts place last year (haven't checked the stats recently). The problem now is he's sharing snaps with Uzomah right?
Quick question: If there was a trade proposed in your season-long standard league of TY Hilton for Trey Burton, would you veto it? Our league has splintered apart a bit because of this trade that was voted down by the league (4/10 is all you need apparently on Yahoo). It does not seem too unfair to me and so I leave it alone. I also do not veto trades that might help a team ahead of me in the standings, I feel that is a bit shady. Thoughts? Thanks, love the content!

The side getting Hilton is definitely getting the better end of the trade. I plugged it into our Trade Analyzer as well and it confirms that across all scoring formats.
What we don't have is context. If the team giving away Hilton is stacked at WR, weak at TE, and can afford to lose Hilton, then I could see it. Hilton is projected to score 89 more fantasy points (ppr) this season than Burton - that's a 6+ points per game differential - not inconsequential. Within context of each team's needs, perhaps it's equitable, but I understand where the rest of the league would question it.

Good thing I didn’t see this before I played Luck and got 28 points Thursday.

I have a bunch of uninspiring options for my flex with Drake, Freeman, and Collins to choose from on my bench. Henry is on the wire atm but his lack of production with decent touches scares me despite the decent matchup. Crowell is also there. Who would you roll with? Half point ppr
