Week 5 Free Agent Targets

Gardner Minshew (JAC, QB)
While he completely tanked two weeks ago when he should have been able to light up the Dolphins, Minshew bounced back last week with 351 yards and 2 touchdowns. It should be noted that D.J. Chark missed that Thursday night game, but when he's on the field, Minshew flirts with QB1 status.
Justin Herbert (LAC, QB)
So much for rookie-jitters. With both Austin Ekeler and Mike Williams on the sidelines, Herbert remained pretty impressive throwing for 290 yards and 3 scores. He's averaging 310 yards/game and has a favorable matchup for the next five weeks.
Joshua Kelley (LAC, RB)
With Austin Ekeler expected to miss the next month, it's the next man up. Kelley carried nine times in Ekeler's absence. He'll likely split duties with Justin Jackson, but both guys have an opportunity to contribute immediately but for a limited time.
Chase Edmonds (ARI, RB)
In a matchup where he should have delivered a solid fantasy day, Kenyan Drake disappointed once again this last week toting the ball 13 times for just 35 yards (2.7 ypc). If Drake misses any time, Chase Edmonds should see the kind of volume that makes him worthy of rostering. It hasn't been Drake who has been involved in the passing game - it has been Edmonds. Even if Drake doesn't miss time, Edmonds is worth picking up and holding onto.
Tee Higgins (CIN, WR)
The #2 receiver for the Bengals was supposed to be A.J. Green, but Tee Higgins is emerging as Burrow's next option behind Tyler Boyd. While Green has been targeted 11 more times than Higgins, he has been far less effective with them.
Scott Miller (TB, WR)
There seems to be a rash of injuries on the Bucs. With Godwin out and Evans questionable for next week, Scotty Miller has an opportunity to emerge as a viable fantasy option after capitalizing on his 5 catches for 83 yards and a score.
